“Sheds harder than a mohair rug”
Blossom Dearly (@dearlyblossom) is a budding jazz vocalist hailing from Central Park, NYC, whose dazzling ascent to stardom has captured imaginations and attention worldwide.
With a passion for jazz bigger than her petite frame and a distinctive, otherworldly presence, Miss Dearly’s charming voice evokes nostalgia of the 1940s and ’50s, rooted in the sophisticated stylings of swing and bebop.
She’s gearing up to hit the road with her newly formed jazz ensemble, Blossom and the Shrub Tones, who enchant audiences with their spirited sound and unfurling improvisations.
Blossom is the recipient of a 2025 South Arts Jazz Road Creative Residency grant, which supported the production of her YouTube mini-series spotlighting emerging stars and luminaries from New York City’s vibrant jazz scene.
Blossom hasn’t won any Grammys yet, but she remains optimistic and would very much like to.
